Lead Teacher – Early Childhood Education
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Lead Teacher to join our high-quality early childhood education program. This role is ideal for an educator who values professionalism, consistency, and leadership within the classroom.
Schedule:
- Flexible hours between 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- 4 ten-hour workdays per week
- Same day off every week (consistent, predictable schedule)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 or higher on The Registry
- Proven experience leading a classroom in a licensed child care or early learning setting
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Ability to mentor assistant teachers and support a collaborative team environment
- Confident, professional communication with families and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead classroom planning, curriculum implementation, and daily operations
- Maintain strong routines, classroom structure, and high standards of care
- Model best practices and provide guidance to classroom staff
- Build positive, professional relationships with families
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and center policies
