Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care – Blended Model
Description
This course provides foundational knowledge and skills training for individuals as they begin caring for children in the infant and toddler age groups.

Training Details and Requirements
• This 45-hour course (10 in virtual meetings and 35 web-based) is being offered in a blended format, which consists of live Zoom meetings and self-paced online coursework. In addition to virtual meetings with your instructor, work will be assigned and completed on an online Learning Management System housed on PDS Online.
• Participants must attend every Zoom meeting and complete all assigned online coursework with an 80% grade or higher by Friday, December 4, 2026 to pass the course and earn Registry credit.
• Participants must have a computer or laptop and reliable internet access to complete the online work and join the virtual meetings.
• Registered participants will receive a welcome email with more information about the course on Monday, October 12, 2026. This welcome email will include a guide on how to access and navigate the self-paced online work. Be sure to check your spam/junk folders if you have not received any email communication by the end of the day.
