Description
The Road to Success Program is a comprehensive training series that will help you start your career in early childhood education. Program graduates will have the educational qualifications to be a lead child care teacher or family child care provider in just 13 weeks!
• Location: In-person and virtually
• Dates and times: The program runs from June 10, 2025 - September 10, 2025. Tuesday sessions are from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., Thursday sessions are from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., and three Saturday in-person workshops are from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be virtual in June and July and switch to in-person in August and September.
• Classes include: Introduction to the Child Care Profession, Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care, Fundamentals of Family Child Care, Pyramid Model, Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards, Strengthening Families, SIDS, AHT, CPR/AED, and Mandated Reporter
• Participants may be eligible for financial support through Forward Service to meet transportation, technology, and child care needs during classes
