CCR&R’s Teacher Connection Group is designed specifically for child care teachers in group and family child care programs operating in Waupaca, Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet, Manitowoc, Green Lake, Fond du Lac, and Sheboygan Counties. Our mission is to support teachers and the important work they do, with their wants and needs at the forefront. This could mean a night of fun to destress and unwind, a collaborative work time with access to the CCR&R library, or targeted discussions and support on issues teachers face every day.

Baby Clothing Swap Event– Free Event for All Families!
How does it work?
1) Bring your gently-used, freshly laundered infant clothing to CCR&R and receive one “Clothing Swap Coupon” per plastic shopping bag donated. Limit 5 bags per family. Registry Credit: Participants can earn 2 hours of Registry continuing education credit from this event. To earn this Registry credit, participants must visit at least three locations, get their unique stamp on their stamp card as proof of attendance, and turn in their completed stamp card to their last stop of the night.
Tour Participant Guidelines:
• This event is “adult-only” and children are not allowed on the tour
• Participants must show their Tour of Centers wristband to staff upon entering each location
• Participants must be respectful of center property, materials, staff, and other participants. Programs have generously welcomed others into their space, so comments should be kept positive and each building should be left neat and tidy.
• Participants may be asked to leave if they engage in unprofessional behavior or inappropriate language
• Participants must honor the scheduled times printed on the stamp card for each location
• Some programs may not allow photographs. Please ask before taking any pictures and respect the right of each center to refuse permission for photographs.

This course provides foundational knowledge and skills training for individuals as they begin a career in caring for children as an assistant teacher.

Training Details and Requirements
• This 50-hour course (15 in virtual meetings and 35 web-based) is being offered in a blended format, which means there will be a mix of Zoom virtual training meetings and web-based work. In addition to virtual meetings with an instructor, work will be assigned and completed on an online Learning Management System called ECExplorer.
• Participants must attend every virtual meeting date and complete all assigned web-based work with an 80% grade or higher by Tuesday, December 2, 2025 to successfully complete the course and earn Registry credit.
• Participants must have a computer, laptop, or tablet and reliable internet access to complete the web-based work and join the virtual meetings.

• This 50-hour course (15 in virtual meetings and 35 web-based) is being offered in a blended format, which means there will be a mix of Zoom virtual training meetings and web-based work. In addition to virtual meetings with an instructor, work will be assigned and completed on an online Learning Management System called ECExplorer.
• Participants must attend every virtual meeting date and complete all assigned web-based work with an 80% grade or higher by Thursday, December 18, 2025 to successfully complete the course and earn Registry credit.
• Participants must have a computer, laptop, or tablet and reliable internet access to complete the web-based work and join the virtual meetings.
• Registered participants will receive a welcome email with more information about the course on Thursday, September 25, 2025. CCR&R’s Child Care Leadership Support Group is designed specifically for leadership team members in group or family child care programs operating in Waupaca, Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet, Manitowoc, Green Lake, Fond du Lac, and Sheboygan Counties. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for leadership team members to connect with one another, build on each other’s successes, and strategize together to work through challenges. Main topics will be chosen based on group member feedback and need, but time is also given for group members to ask questions and share about anything on their mind.

• This 50-hour course (15 in virtual meetings and 35 web-based) is being offered in a blended format, which means there will be a mix of Zoom virtual training meetings and web-based work. In addition to virtual meetings with your instructor, work will be assigned and completed on an online Learning Management System called ECExplorer.
• Participants must attend every virtual meeting date and complete all assigned web-based work with an 80% grade or higher by Tuesday, June 9, 2026 to successfully complete the course and earn Registry credit.
• Participants must have a computer, laptop, or tablet and reliable internet access to complete the web-based work and join the virtual meetings.
