Inspiration – As a former competitive gymnast, exercise has been an integral part of my life. After earning my Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado, I started Better Beings, primarily providing personal training services. At the time, personal training was a relatively new field, and I quickly discovered it encompassed so much more than simply teaching people how to exercise. This profession provided an opportunity to not only help people physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Thus the tag line: Better Minds Better Bodies Better Beings.
Dedication – The Wellness industry has grown and evolved tremendously over the past 20 years, as has my own commitment to my personal health and educating and empowering those around me. Now, the main focus of Better Beings is to reach as many people as possible through corporate wellness trainings, community-based education, various forms of lifestyle transformation programs, and weekend workshops. For a truly unique wellness experience, I lead retreats to Kauai and Bali.
Motivation – I am proud to say I have helped transform the lives of thousands of people through my work and I look forward to continuing to share my knowledge and energy to inspire people to take charge of their wellbeing. I have taught my 10-week lifestyle enhancement program, the YOU Revolution, to hundreds of people. The book, the YOU Revolution; the Journey of a Better Being, was released in May 2019.
