Training Description

Abusive Head Trauma Prevention training addresses the latest information on what is Abusive Head Trauma (AHT), the Period of Purple Crying, strategies and challenges of soothing, coping with frustration, and having a plan and the importance of educating others. Abusive Head Trauma Prevention Training for Child Care Providers training is required for new child care employees to complete in place of Shaken Baby Prevention Training for Child Care Providers. Child Care providers who have had shaken baby syndrome training are NOT REQUIRED to take this training to remain within licensing compliance however it’s highly recommended to obtain the updated information and resources.
