This training is designed to educate child care providers on how to protect the children they care for by creating a safe sleep environment to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and other sleep-related infant deaths. In this training, participants will learn how to promote the Safe to Sleep message in child care program, raise awareness and change practices in family child care homes and center-based child care programs, as well as educating their program’s parents, families, and everyone who care for babies on what SIDS and SUID are and how to reduce the risk of  sleep-related infant deaths.
