Expired Impacts of Domestic Violence on Parents and Children

Domestic abuse takes many forms, from physical violence to emotional abuse to financial control. No two situations are the same. Child care providers must be aware and educated about domestic violence and it’s effects on both parents and children. In the presentation, participants will learn the damaging effects on both parents and children, how to recognize the signs, how to provide appropriate support for victims and become familiar with community programs that can assist the individual/family. A general certificate of attendance will be provided to all attendees.
